Bahia Beach Golf Villas - Rio Grande - Puerto Rico

Set on a spectacular beachfront site on the island of Puerto Rico, the Bahia Beach development will be comprised of condominium townhouses and flats with golf course and lakeside views. The project is designed to be community-oriented by introducing amenities such as a village center with retail and commercial space, golf and beach clubs, pools and a central green for recreation. The architectural style is a fusion of Asian, Mediterranean and tropical influences common in Puerto Rico and throughout the Caribbean. This combination is characterized with large overhangs and incorporates significant outdoor living spaces with the integration of interior and private garden spaces. The lightly-colored buildings employ a subtle, refined elegance by using natural materials indigenous to the island.

Anassa Hotel & Spa - Polis - Cyprus

This five-star resort sits on a rise overlooking a pristine beach, with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea. The main hotel - with its magnificent rotunda - is surrounded by luxury villas that step down to the sea, giving the impression of the collection of smaller structures that form a Mediterranean hill town. Authenticity and sophisticated luxury were the project's primary design goals. The architecture is an elegant interpretation of the traditional Greek Cypriot vernacular, with whitewashed walls, low-pitched tile roofs, simple massing and clean details.

Bay Creek Resort & Spa - Virginia - USA

Located on a peninsula overlooking Chesapeake Bay, this resort is designed in a shingle style, a uniquely American vernacular that combines influences from the shores of New England to California’s craftsman bungalows. The resort is a compilation of main lodge and cottages, with 30 rooms in the main lodge and the rest in 3 and 4-bedroom cottages scattered throughout the 28-acre site. Located on the western shore of the peninsula, the lodge is carefully placed to take advantage of the Western sunsets across Chesapeake Bay -- a unique opportunity on the East Coast. The cottages are sited for views of the bay, creek or the adjacent Jack Nicklaus golf course.

Calistoga Ranch - California - USA

This unique resort and private residence club is nestled on 23 heavily-wooded acres in the heart of the California wine country. The remainder of the 157-acre site will be left undeveloped. The property contains both resort and fractional ownership units, each designed to blur the line between indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a “bungalow-in-the woods” experience in which the spectacular natural surroundings are the most important amenity. Living and bedroom spaces surround private cabanas (outdoor living rooms) complete with outdoor fireplaces, lighting and comfortable furnishings. The resort units range from 600 to 2,400 square feet of indoor/outdoor space. The architecture is a mix of indigenous natural materials with steel and glass elements, emphasizing the indoor/outdoor lifestyle and casual elegance that typify the Napa Valley.

Fisher Island - Miami - USA

One of the most exclusive residential addresses in the world, Fisher Island features luxurious homes, averaging 3,500 square feet, ranging from one-bedroom beachfront villas to 8,000-square-foot penthouses. A membership club, with guest accommodation and an elaborate health spa, has been adapted from the original Mediterranean-style Vanderbilt estate, which served as the design inspiration for the entire project. The lushly landscaped island has ample open space, and a championship, P.B. Dye-designed 9-hole golf course with a clubhouse. Other amenities include fitness trails, beaches, a 16-court tennis club, a commercial center and a marina. SB Architects has been the exclusive architect and planner for Fisher Island, in nearly two decades of development.

Dharmawangsa Hotel & Spa - Jakarta - Indonesia

This business boutique hotel serves as the focal point of a mixed-use development which encompasses an entire block in the fashionable Jakarta neighborhood of Kebayoran Baru. The property is designed to provide guests with intimate yet sumptuous spaces befitting a Rosewood hotel including it's signature mix of a high ratio of suites to rooms, intimately scaled public spaces, and a residential ambience. The symmetrical plan of the low-rise structure is designed to function as an efficient modern hotel while reflecting the order and aesthetics of traditional Indonesian colonial design. Two restaurants, a ballroom, and a combination worldclass spa, fitness complex and dining club all act as the primary amenity for guests, residents of the four surrounding apartment towers, and a select group of members.
